Rare Disease Day Coloring Printables
Help us Care About Rare and raise awareness with these Rare Disease Day coloring printables!
February 28th is Rare Disease Day.
Every year this day helps raise awareness for rare diseases and improve access to treatment for people with rare diseases and their families. There are over 7,000 rare diseases that impact over 300 million people.
We are so excited to do a very small piece to help spread the word and awareness to reach a cure.
Meet Ellie
Ellie, the little girl of some of our very good friends, inspired these coloring pages.
Ellie has CASK, which is a mutation on the CASK gene affecting a protein that plays a role in brain development. She is the sweetest, music-loving little girl who loves to dance and play with her pups. Bo, her adorable older brother, is her protector and she has the strongest, most-loving parents.
At 3-years old she’s already undergone intensive physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy. In the next few months she and her family will head back out to Texas to do another 3-weeks of intensive therapy working on all of those skills.
